Heavy weight boxer, Anthony Joshua picked up a victory over Jermaine Franklin at the O2 Arena in London on Saturday night.
Joshua, popularly known as AJ won in a unanimous decision of 118-111, 117-111, 117-111 in a fight where he was hadly troubled.
AJ now wants to fight WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury in one of the biggest awaited fights in boxing history.
He says that’s the fight that boxing fans want to see.
The AJ/Fury fight has lost some of its potential following AJ’s consective losses to Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk in 2021 and 2022.
Tyson Fury is regarded as one of the most dangerous heavyweight fighters in that category. His knockout of Deontay Wilder put him in that territory.
This would be a big risk on the part of Joshua who at 33 might not be at his very best physically. But surely, the bout would certainly be one of the biggest paydays ever for both boxers.
