Chelsea played a 1-1 draw with West Ham at the London Stadium and the game was not short on drama.

Chelsea played so well in the first 25mins and they started looking like the team over half billion pounds had been spent on.

Striker Joao Felix had scored a very good goal and Chelsea were riding high.

They put out their dream attacking line up, Joao Felix, Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke. Their midfield had Enzo Fernandez who was showing so much energy and justifying the huge amount of cash spent on his transfer.

Former Chelsea man, Emerson Palmieri scored the equalizer in the first half and that changed the tempo of the game. Chelsea appeared confused for long spells till changes were made by coach Graham Potter.

The major drama of the game came late into the second half when a goal bound shot by Chelsea’s Connor Gallagher was “saved” literally by West Hams defender, Tomas Soucek with his hand. It was a clear penalty not given the the referee or VAR.

That decision made sure the points were split equally: Chelsea 1 -1 West Ham
