A personnel of The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Officer has been recorded Slapping a Motorist for recording him In Osun state.
He was captured hitting a motorist who confronted him for allegedly damaging his car windscreen in Osun during a heated argument with the officer.
The video recording was shared by a Twitter user on Tuesday, May 16.
In the footage, the motorist could be heard saying he was slapped by the officer after his windscreen was broken and he still didn’t retaliate against the officer.

Recall in 2022, some officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) had assaulted a driver and injured him in the presence of his children, wife and mother and seized his vehicle particulars and mobile phone afterwards along Ejule Road in Kogi State.
According to reports, the officers also allegedly invited some thugs to attack other motorists and passengers who had pleaded with the officers to forgive the driver and take him to the hospital for proper treatment as he was bleeding profusely.
This is just one of the many incidents of assaults carried out by FRSC officers around the country. The FG has also sanctioned a number of them for misconduct and assault.
This appears to be a season of assaults as Uniform men and citizens are engaging in different degrees of assaults ranging from the one melted out on a police officer by Seun Kuti on Third Mainland Bridge, Lagos. In his case he was recorded manhandling and slapping a police officer at the same time, bragging about his status and accusing the police officer of trying to kill him.
Next is a young lady that assaulted a police officer at Ogombo area of lagos state, just yesterday. In her case, she was seen folding the officer’s uniform and charging at him. She has been presently remanded in Kirikiri prison.
