The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the list of 240 polling units with no registered voters and where no voting will take place in the February 25th and March 11th national elections.

Insecurity has been cited as one of the reasons for the non-registration of voters. With that assumption, we would have expected the northern part of the country which is ravaged by insecurity to be more affected. However, Imo state tops the group with 38 polling units followed by Taraba with 34 polling units.
