Wout Weghorst, the Dutch loanee striker from Besiktas, was on target for Manchester United as they beat Nottingham Forest 3-0 in the Carabao Cup Semi-Final on Wednesday.

The striker who was on loan to Besiktas from Burnley scored in the dying minute of the first half to make the score 2-0 after the first goal from Marcus Rashford in the 6th minute.

Bruno Fernandez scored in the 89th minute to make it 3-0 win for Manchester United.

The game was not really all about Manchester United and Weghorst. Nottingham Forest actually scored an equalizing goal by Sam Surridge in the 23rd minute but VAR judged it offside. If that goal had stood, perhaps the game would have taken a different trajectory.

For Wout Weghorst, he seems to be making the loan decision by Manchester United a good one. How many more goals can we see from the 30 year old and will he do enough to merit a full time transfer to Old Trafford?
