The Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom on Wednesday, March 15, claimed that the presidential and National Assembly elections, carried out on February 25, in the state and across the country were heavily rigged.
Ortom stated this while commissioning projects across Makurdi, Benue State capital.
According to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governor, the election held on the 25th of February, 2023 was rigged electronically, clinically and scientifically.
Ortom further said that his legal team as well as that of the PDP are on top of the situation surrounding the election and would soon come out with a position.
He called on the people of Benue state to vote massively for the governorship candidate of the PDP in the state, Titus Uba.
He assured the people that voting Uba in the Saturday governorship election is a continuation of development in the state.
