Naj’atu Muhammed, a former Senator from Kano Central has lambasted the Bola Tinubu presidential campaign.
Naj’atu said Remi Tinubu, the wife of Bola Tinubu will be in charge if Tinubu is elected.
She recently decamped from the All Progressives Congress (APC) where she was a member of the Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign council.
Naj’atu spoke today on an African Independent Television (AIT) programme.
She also attacked the handlers of Tinubu calling them hangers on who are only pushing him so they can become the beneficiaries.
She described Tinubu as mentally ill and unfit for leadership.
She is quoted:
“I looked at the options in the APC. They go to rallies and Asiwaju cannot even decipher. When I was speaking with him, I sat with him for two hours and most of the time, he was sleeping,” she said.
“You ask him questions on this and he is talking completely differently from the topic you are discussing. So, how on earth, what is wrong with Nigerians? What is it that you benefit personally for you to sacrifice over 200 million people?”
“He told me that he doesn’t have anything for us. I said ‘you mean sir, you don’t have a blueprint?’ He said ‘I can’t have a blueprint because if I have a blueprint, I will be stepping on too many toes and they might even kill me’.
Naj’atu said after putting all the facts together, she decided to join the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) and Atiku presidential campaign.
She described how she sat down with Atiku and asked for his own blueprint and she was handed a booklet on security and agriculture, which took her days to go through. This she believed was convincing enough for her to dump the APC and join the PDP.
