TVC News in Lagos has cancelled the live interview earlier scheduled for 8am Friday, January 27th for the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress Party, Omoyele Sowore.
This information was posted on the Twitter account of Sowere who confirmed the TVC news crew had reached out to him to cancel the interview.
TVC News is owned by the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu who has been in the media in the last few days has alleged that his own party, APC, was conniving to frustrate his campaign with fuel strikes and Naira redesign!
In the last week, TVC News hosted the Lagos State Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor.
In the interview, Jandor alleged that Bola Tinubu appropriated Lagos State Government land to establish TVC headquarters.
Omoyele Sowore has an activist reputation and does not shy away from speaking his mind on any given platform.
The related incident involving Jandor might have prompted the TVC News management to cancel the Sowore interview.
